About the Department   

     The growing importance of statistics and operation research and their multi applications in all fields such as demographic, social, agricultural, industrial, commercial, engineering and medical studies, has lead to increasing dean and for specialist in the field of statistics and operations research. Accordingly the faculty of science has established an independent department for statistics to cater for the needs. This department grants Bachelor’s of Science in statistics.
