Preparing statistical graduates with world-class professional competencies, qualified to conduct scientific research and provide community services permitting sustainable development in various related fields.

Departmental Objectives

1. Developing the current accredited academic programs (Bachelor, Master, and Doctoral levels) to ensure their quality and efficiency by 100%.
2. Establishing new academic Interdisciplinary programs such as medical statistics, biostatistics, financial statistics, and data science.
3. Establishing new programs that support applied environmental geography such as Hajj and Umrah, Ain Zubaida, Red Sea Studies, and Renewable Energy.
4. Establishing new Master programs in Statistics and Data Science.
5. Increasing the percentage of Applied Statistical Research studies of the total research produced by the department by 70%, in areas that support the Kingdom's 2030 vision such as Haj and Umrah, Red Sea Industries, and Solar Renewable Energy.
6. Developing the technical and administrative services in the department to reach a satisfactory level of 80%.
7. Increasing the percentage of academic and institutional accredited programs in the department by 100%.
